Waited for the "end of the world" but never came

Thousands of people across social networks waited until 6:00 pm, the time shown by the prophecy, waiting for the apocalypse. Many took it very seriously and others just laughed at the prophecy

Many months went by warning of the apocalypse. Some gave their worldly possessions and took all the money they had in their bank accounts. And so they waited, confident or anguished, at the appointed time arrived Saturday.
When the clock struck 6:00 p.m. in various parts of the world, but nothing extraordinary happened, Keith Bauer, who climbed into his truck in Maryland and traveled with his family 4 000 800 km to California for the occasion, tried to take it easy.
"I was somewhat skeptical, but tried to leave behind this skepticism, because I believe in God," Bauer said on a sunny morning in Oakland, in front of the headquarters of Radio International, whose founder Harold Camping has released the prediction of the end of world for months.
Bauer, tractor driver, he left for California last week, concluding that it was not worth working for the past week. "Anyway I had not been paid if had arrived the end judgment" he said
Now, plans to return to his truck and walk back across the country, starting Sunday, accompanied by his wife, son and another family member.
The message that the end judgment would  on May 21 was sent far and wide by means of radio stations and Internet sites for Camping, a retired civil engineer of 89 years has created a multimillion-dollar ministry based on his apocalyptic prediction.
